The problem

The gap isn't knowledge. It's plumbing.

You've tried ChatGPT, got a decent answer, and gone back to doing the task by hand the following week. Meanwhile the same jobs eat your Fridays. None of them are architecture.

  • Writing up finished projects for the website
  • Reformatting the same analysis into the same client report
  • Watching competition and tender portals
  • Proposal and fee letter boilerplate
  • Turning meeting notes into actions and minutes

The method

Four parts. That's the whole trick.

1

A place for the work

A folder, a database or a spreadsheet. This is where the agent reads and writes.

2

A trigger

Something that says now: a schedule, a new file, a form. Without it you just have a chatbot.

3

Instructions

Specific enough that a competent stranger could follow them. This is where most agents fail, and it's a briefing problem, not a technical one.

4

An approval gate

You check before anything goes out. The agent drafts; you decide.

Architects are good at briefing. That turns out to be the hard part.

Running order

0–10 minThe honest version: what agents do well today, and what they still do badly.
10–25 minInside my own system: the content and research agents I use for this site and my LinkedIn, opened up. No slides.
25–70 minBuild along with me. Your task, your account, working by the end.
70–90 minYour questions. All of them.

You leave with

  • One agent running, built during the session, on a task you choose.
  • The four-part structure that makes an agent reliable rather than impressive once.
  • My actual prompts and database structure, ready to copy.
  • A clear read on which of your repeated tasks are worth automating, and which are not.
  • The recording, to rewatch or share with your team.
  • 30 days in a private group: share what you built, ask questions, and a weekly Q&A with me.

Is it for you?

Yes, if you

  • Work in a design or engineering practice, or anywhere else, and repeat the same task every week.
  • Have played with AI tools and want them to actually do something.
  • Would rather build one working thing than watch forty tutorials.

No, if you

  • Already build with APIs and scripts. This will be too slow.
  • Want a general overview of AI in architecture. This is one narrow, practical build.
  • Are looking for a software demo. Nothing is being sold on the night.

Who's teaching

Franz Forsberg. French-Norwegian architect and engineer, trained in Tokyo (Hosei University) and London (MSc Sustainable Environmental Design, Architectural Association). Co-founder of Spacio, formerly Lead Computational Design Norway at LINK Arkitektur. Has taught daylight and parametric design at Velux Build for Life, the Radiance workshop and Graphisoft master classes.

I built the agents I'll show because I needed them, not to teach them. I'm an architect who learned this out of necessity, not an AI engineer. What I can teach is the shortest path from nothing to one working agent: the path I actually took.

Honest limits

※ NOTEAgents are good at the repetitive middle: drafting, reformatting, filing. They are bad at judgement about a client relationship, nuance in a competition text, and numbers they state with total confidence. We'll build for the first and keep you in charge of the second.

Questions

Do I need to code?
No. Everything is built in tools you use in a browser.
What do I need?
A laptop, a Notion or Google account, and a Claude or ChatGPT subscription. Nothing to install.
When do I pay?
Reserving is free. I email everyone who reserved a payment link before the class. Your seat is confirmed once you pay.
What happens after the live class?
You join a private group for 30 days. Share what you built, get unstuck, and bring questions to a weekly Q&A thread with me. After 30 days the group closes.
Is it recorded?
Yes. The recording is sent within 48 hours and is yours to keep.
What if I can't make the date?
Book anyway, watch the recording, and email me your questions. I'll answer them properly.
What if it isn't useful?
Email me within seven days and I'll refund you in full. No form, no explanation needed.
What if too few people sign up?
The live class runs with at least 15 paid seats. If it doesn't reach that, everyone is refunded in full.
Can my whole team join?
Yes, book a seat each. For a private session for your practice, write to hello@franzforsberg.com.
